Here in the Big Easy Halloween is pretty much a month long celebration. There are parades, parties, and festivals every weekend and even many days in between. Voting in a costume on a Saturday afternoon will not even get you strange looks either, trust me, I cast my vote on my way to a parade on Saturday.
For most, me included, Halloween is about dressing up and having loads of fun. It’s also about allowing ourselves to step out of our comfort zone for a bit and be something different, even if it is kind of kooky and for just a brief period of time.
As adults too often we’re led by what we think we should do, not exactly what we want to do. We wait to pursue our passions until a date in the future yet to be named when we think we’ll have more time. We delay making time for travel, lunch with friends or simply a nap until we’re done with everything, which often doesn’t come.
Most people I meet are simply exhausted and frustrated because they’re not living the life they truly want. Yet they don’t know or believe there really is a viable alternative.
Personally, I think we all should take time NOW to really live life, not to wait till some time in the future, which may or may not ever come.
Yes, running a business takes time, I know this first hand, from my business and those I help, but it doesn’t have to be all you, nor should it really be. After all a business should really serve you, by providing you with time, energy and money, not the other way around.
How about delegating some of your administrative activities to someone so you can take an afternoon off, spend time volunteering, or pursuing a hobby. Having someone help you do some research so you can go read a book, take the family to the movies or visit a museum. Or my favorite, having a trusted virtual assistant post content to drive traffic to my website, while you’re taking a mini vacation.
If you’re stuck with delegating, outsourcing or finding the right people and doing it on a budget, you’re not alone. This is exactly why I’m hosting a workshop in November called “Building your Virtual Dream Team”. I’ll be sharing many of the things that I’ve learned over the last 6 years of running a business entirely virtual that allow me to have the freedom and time to travel, volunteer, spend afternoons helping friends and still have a successful thriving business.
For additional details on this workshop or to reserve your spot please go to www.GettingLeveraged.com. There are still a few spaces left and as a bonus I’ll be giving each participant a complimentary 30 minute private coaching session to help ensure success after the workshop.
On behalf of the entire team here, please have a fun, safe and very HAPPY HALLOWEEN.
Wealthy wishes,
Michelle Spalding
Virtual Fairy Godmother
P.S. – Start thinking about what you’d really like to be doing more of, and I promise I’ll help you figure out how to do more of it at the “Building your Virtual Dream Team Workshop”.
“Reduce your workload by 30% and increase your fun load by 30% and you will increase your revenues by 100%. And you will increase your productivity by 10,000%. (If there could be such a percentage.) More fun, less struggle—more results on all fronts. ” Abraham-Hicks
"In just one session I was able to create an actionable plan to hire a Virtual Assistant to help me with my grow my business by doing less. Michelle helped me take my big picture idea and break it down into small steps that enabled me to hire, train and manage my new Virtual Assistant. Her experience and guidance was just what I needed to help me go from project idea to implementation. With the foundation in place I look forward to adding more VAs in the very short future.
"I've been an entrepreneur for nearly 10 years and nobody has helped me learn how to outsource better and more efficiently than the 'Virtual Fairy Godmother' herself, Michelle Spalding. She is the Queen of outsourcing. Michelle has helped me let go of the things that held me back from success (such as doing everything myself!) so I can actually take time off to travel and enjoy life. Follow her advice because she can help you delegate tasks to qualified Virtual Assistants who are extremely affordable."
"As a busy Netpreneur and Mother, time is of the essence. Searching for information and people I need to grow my business and give me time to spend with my family was a real challenge! Thanks to Michelle's program I am loving life! From the very beginning I knew that she had the experience and knowledge to really guide me to make the changes I needed in my business to give me the lifestyle I wanted. Since implementing some of her strategies I have more time and energy for myself, my family and my business. Thanks to my Virtual Fairy Godmother, I'm able to do what I Love!
Working with Michelle Spalding has been such a positive experience for me. In fact, I’ve gotten to the point where I don’t even bother to search the internet for what I need, instead, I go right to Michelle! It doesn’t matter what kind of assistance I’m looking for, Michelle listens to my needs, asks intelligent questions, comes up with a plan, executes it, and suddenly I’m moving forward in the direction I want, and able to achieve my goals. She is solution-oriented and incredibly efficient which saves me time and enables me to focus on the things I really enjoy doing. When you work with Michelle, you will truly feel as if you have a Fairy Godmother. She swoops in, waves her magic wand, and then everything falls into place in a way that I have always been pleased with. Don’t waste another minute trying to do it all yourself– Forget Google - Call Michelle!!
"I met Michelle when she spoke at one of the training events I was involved with in New Orleans. I was so impressed, I invited her back to speak at a second event. She shared with the attendees at those events information on how to locate, hire and manage their own virtual assistant or an entire team of them. Over the years I've personally seen that she doesn't talk the virtual talk, she truly lives it each day in her business and in the clients she serves"
